Perimeter Technologies WiFi Wireless Outdoor Dog Fence
Only Wire-Free uses the latest digitally encoded WiFi signal technology used in advanced wireless communications. Unlike dated fencing technology, the Wire-Free Smart Station and Pet Link collar are both connected by Transceivers – highly integrated signal chips that constantly links the distance between your dog and the Smart Station™. Wire-Free intelligently tracks the location of your dog at all times, reminding her to respect the established boundary safe area, all while communicating critical safety information back to you.
Although this is the newest dog fence technology out there, the Perimeter WiFi Wireless Dog Fence is not meant for all yards. There are some very important limitations to this system:
Your pet's boundary will be in the shape of a circle, originating from the SmartStation mounted in your home or garage. This circle will have a radius of 10 to 200 ft. If a circle boundary will not work for particular yard or situation, please check out our many other electronic dog fences we have on our web site.
This new technology works best with LINE OF SIGHT. The PetLink collar must always be in LINE OF SIGHT with the SmartStation. If this will not always be the case, you should purchase a buried wire dog fence system.
If you have metal siding and/or roofs, or large metal structures on your property, you should purchase a buried wire dog fence system.
If you want to contain your dog(s) in wooded areas, you should purchase a buried wire dog fence system.

Although wireless pet fencing has been available for over a decade, technology has gone through little or no changes, which is unusual given the rapid advancements in technology that industries like entertainment and communications have enjoyed. The all new Wire-Free – WiFi Fence employs the hottest micro-chip transceiver set, operating on what has now become a very familiar 802.15 wireless communication protocol used in all the new cool electronic products. New technology makes our lives more convenient, keeps us better connected and now makes owning a dog fence easier and your pet safer than ever before.
