If your dog is over 30 pounds and is extremely stubborn or hard to train you may need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. 5 levels of correction plus vibration as an added deterrent.
I use the PRF-275 collar with with the PetSafe Indoor Premium Fence Transmitter PIRF-100. They work well together and are easy to setup. I especially like this collar because i uses a standard 9 V battery instead of an expensive custom battery used in other collars.
My dog was constantly getting into the garbage. With in one evening, she stopped going near anywhere near it. I would recommend these products for keeping your dog out of area's in your house.

The collar has multiple settings that can be tailored to your dogs temperament. My dog was constantly getting into the garbage. With in one evening, she stopped going near anywhere near it. I especially like the fact that it takes a standard 9 v batttery that can be purchased anywhere vs a custom battery from the manufacturer.
