We ship most items by UPS ground. Some smaller items may be shipped by USPS 1st Class Mail, Parcel Post, or Priority Mail. PetsContained.com reserves the right to choose shipping method.
When You Can Expect To Receive Your Order

The map below shows approximate delivery time for UPS ground shipments, for most of our items, from our distributors warehouse to your area. Most of our items ship out of our two warehouses in Florida and Ohio. However, some items may ship from other warehouses in other states. These items will generally take a few extra days to ship. This is due to the extra processing time required. We will try to keep you informed as to the processing of your order.

April thru June is a very busy time for pet fences and other pet supplies. Order processing during these three months may be up to 48 hours.

Some items ship directly from the manufacturer. These items may take 5-10 business days.

Orders requesting Ground shipping will ship within two business days, (except where noted above) please add this to your estimated delivery time. For example, if you live in Michigan and place an order on Monday and request Ground shipping, your order will ship on or before Wednesday and should arrive three Business Days later.

Orders placed before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time Monday-Friday that are shipping Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3-Day Select will ship the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time requesting these shipping options will ship the next business day. UPS does not deliver packages on weekends unless you selected Next Day Air Saturday Delivery. In addition, UPS does not deliver packages on Holidays.

Next Day Air UPS does not deliver packages on weekends except for Next Day Air Saturday Delivery. If you are placing an order after 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday requesting Next Day Air and you want your order delivered on Saturday, please indicate in the "Comment" section of our order form that you want Saturday delivery. UPS charges an extra $12.50 for this service and this will be added to your shipping charges.
To Our Customers Outside the 48 Contiguous States
- Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Foreign Countries and those using an APO address. Your shipping options will be UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air and USPS Priority Mail International. The shipping charges in your shopping cart are estimates only. We will email you with your exact shipping charges prior to shipping your order. We will require your acceptance of these shipping charges before your order can be processed.
- Radio Systems Corporation (RSC) currently does not allow us to ship any PetSafe, Innotek or SportDog product outside the United States or Canada.
- If your order is shipping outside the United States, you may be required to pay duties, taxes and other fees. These costs will be your responsibility. For items going outside the U.S., we will not mark the package as a gift, so please, do not ask us to.
- Overseas customer is responsible for all shipping costs including cost of insurance.
Order Tracking
After your order has shipped, we will email you the UPS or FedEX tracking number with estimated day of arrival, if your order is shipping via UPS or FedEX. If your order is shipping via Priority Mail or 1st Class Mail, we will email you a USPS tracking number. If your order is shipping USPS Parcel Post, tracking information is not available.

We offer FREE UPS GROUND SHIPPING on select items in our store. These offers may change at any time without notice. To qualify, your order must ship to an address in the lower 48 Contiguous States via Ground UPS and be marked as FREE SHIPPING in our store at time of purchase. No other shipping options or destinations qualify for free shipping.
Delivery Time and Charges
Delivery time listed below is for Ground UPS service and is based on business days and does not include the day your order was processed or shipped.
Shipping charges are based on the weight of the item(s) ordered, shipping method selected and delivery destination. Your shipping charges are downloaded directly from UPS at the time you place your order to assure accuracy. We do not make a profit on shipping charges. If a customer provides us with an incorrect shipping address and we are assessed additional charges by UPS, we will charge the customer's credit card for the additional charges.
